Jamie Page Physiotherapist

 

 

Jamie Page is a British Physiotherapist who moved to Australia in 2005.  He has extensive experience in the UK working as a Personal Trainer and Sports Therapist. Jamie completed a Bachelor of Science Degree (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation (Uk) and a Masters Degree in Physiotherapy from Sydney University. 

 

He has varied and extensive experience in sports rehabilitation, providing injury prevention and treatment programs for Football Clubs in the UK and for the Hawkesbury Canoe Classic in 2008 and 2009 with the SSRS physiotherapy team.

 

In January 2008, Jamie joined Cathy Juska-Butel in the Butel Health Services team.  He has completed training using the Real Time Ultrasound Diagnostic equipment for core muscle recruitment for the treatment of lower back and pelvic pain.

 

Based on his Sports Rehabilitation expertise, Jamie has successfully applied the principles of exercise science used for athletes to get back on the sporting field and to the patient with back and pelvic pain to get back to life-work, sports and leisure.

 

Jamie is a team member of a PHD research project for the treatment of pelvic instability and SACROILIAC JOINT DYSFUNCTION. The research project records the improvement in pelvic pain and chronic lower back pain with the treatment of PROLOTHERAPY under SPECT CT with a CORE MUSCLE RETRAINING exercise program.
